Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the DarssTime platform, an online Arabic and Quran tutoring service provided by Koné Mory.

2. Services

DarssTime offers individual and group Arabic and Quran lessons delivered online via video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet). Free trial lessons last 30 minutes.

3. Registration

Access to the student area requires creating an account with a valid email address. The student is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential.

4. Pricing and payments

Prices are listed on the Pricing page. Payments are made manually, by bank transfer or mobile money, according to the terms communicated by the tutor. No online payment is processed on the platform.

Payment before lessons begin: after the trial lesson, payment for the first month is required before the first regular session. Thereafter, the monthly fee must be paid at the start of each month.

5. Lateness

If a student is late, the lesson will not be extended beyond its scheduled end time. Unused time is considered lost. In case of repeated lateness, the tutor reserves the right to review the conditions of access to the lesson.

6. Cancellations and rescheduling

Any lesson must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 4 hours before it starts via the student area. Beyond this deadline, the lesson is considered due. Rescheduling is possible within 48 hours after the end of the lesson.

7. Extended absences and holidays

A student's time slot is reserved for them on an ongoing basis. In case of an extended absence (holidays, unavailability), the student must continue to pay their monthly fee to keep their slot.

Failure to pay will result in the slot being released and the student being placed on the waiting list, allowing other students to benefit from it. Reinstatement will depend on availability at the time of return.

8. Waiting list and other tutors

Students on the waiting list will be contacted as soon as a slot becomes available. For students who do not wish to wait, DarssTime may offer other equally qualified and available tutors.

9. Conduct

Students agree to behave respectfully and courteously during lessons. Any inappropriate behaviour may result in account termination.

10. Liability

DarssTime cannot be held liable for service interruptions due to technical issues beyond its control (internet outages, equipment failures).

11. Changes

DarssTime reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified by email of any substantial change.
