Terms of Sale and Refund Policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Purpose

These terms govern the sale of individual and group Arabic language and Quran lessons delivered by video conference by DarssTime, a service operated by MORY DEV - EXPERT REACT, a company registered in Côte d'Ivoire.

Enrolment in any paid plan implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Nature of the services

DarssTime provides lessons by video conference, either one-to-one, in small groups (3 to 5 students), in cohorts (6 to 10 students), or in open groups.

Services are sold as a monthly subscription with no minimum commitment. The monthly price corresponds to four sessions per month for each weekly slot subscribed.

Prices are shown in euros for students residing outside Côte d'Ivoire, and in CFA francs for students residing in Côte d'Ivoire. Payment is settled in CFA francs, at the fixed parity of €1 = 655.957 XOF. The CFA franc amount actually due is always communicated to the student before any payment.

3. Free trial lesson

A thirty-minute trial lesson is offered free of charge, with no commitment and no payment method required.

It serves to assess the student's level and to agree together on a suitable learning path. It is limited to one trial per student.

4. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with consumer law applicable in the European Union, any student residing in a Member State has fourteen days from subscription to withdraw, without needing to give a reason.

If the student wishes lessons to begin before that period expires, they must expressly request it at the time of registration. They then acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been fully performed, and that if they withdraw while performance is ongoing, an amount proportionate to the sessions already delivered remains payable.

Withdrawal is exercised by simple message to the contact address given in section 11.

5. Cancelling or rescheduling a session

A session may be cancelled or rescheduled up to four hours before the scheduled time, from the student area or by message.

Any rescheduled session must be rebooked within forty-eight hours. After that, it is considered delivered.

A session cancelled less than four hours in advance, or an unannounced absence, is treated as delivered and gives rise to neither rescheduling nor refund.

If the teacher is unavailable, the session is fully rescheduled at a time agreed with the student, at no cost.

6. Cancelling the subscription

The subscription is monthly with no minimum commitment. It may be cancelled at any time by simple message.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. Remaining sessions for the month already paid stay available until that date.

No partial refund is issued for a month already begun, the corresponding sessions remaining at the student's disposal.

7. Refunds

A refund is issued in the following cases:

— exercise of the right of withdrawal under section 4;

— cancellation of a session by DarssTime where rescheduling is not possible;

— a lasting technical failure attributable to DarssTime preventing lessons from taking place;

— duplicate payment or billing error.

Refunds are issued in CFA francs, through the same channel as the original payment, within a maximum of fourteen days from agreement. Any fees charged by the student's bank or transfer provider are not covered.

8. Extended interruption and non-payment

If payment is not received by the due date, a reminder is sent. Without settlement within fourteen days, the weekly slot is released and the student is placed on the waiting list.

Students wishing to pause their lessons are asked to give advance notice. A reduced plan may be agreed in order to preserve continuity of learning.

Resuming after an extended interruption is subject to slot availability.

9. Price changes

Prices may be revised. Any change is notified individually to the student with at least sixty days' notice before it takes effect.

The student remains free to cancel before the new price applies, at no cost or penalty.

Preferential rates granted on an individual basis remain acquired for the duration of the subscription concerned.

10. Student obligations

The student undertakes to have an internet connection and equipment suitable for video conference lessons, to attend sessions at the agreed times, and to show respect towards the teacher and other participants in group lessons.

Recording, broadcasting or reproducing lessons and teaching materials is prohibited without prior written permission.

11. Complaints and contact

Complaints may be sent by email to konemory019@gmail.com or by WhatsApp to +225 07 09 14 97 47. A response is provided within seven working days.

In the event of a continuing dispute, and for students residing in the European Union, an amicable solution will be sought as a first course of action.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Ivorian law.

Mandatory consumer protection provisions applicable in the consumer's country of residence remain reserved.
